I personally prefer Equilibrium, but what do you think? Which do you prefer?

Equilibrium is one of my favorite movies of all time. It is more original thatn the Matrix and TONS easier to follow. That being said Bale was hotter than Keanu ever was!

Equilibrium is very cool and I like it a lot, but there is one problem I have with the gunkata thing. It seems to rely on gun men standing at very close range to target in a circle. Each shooter is in the crossfire of another. That is bad shooting tactics. In pretty much all the firefights, the shooters were way too close to whats-his-name.
The Matrix did not have any setups like that.
I liked the setting for Equilibrium and the story, but the same is true of the Matrix. They took very different looks at the future.

loved them both but equilibriums story line was a bit more emotional which is good but it progressed to slow. So I got to go matrix

Equilibrium for me. That dude was BAAAAD with those guns. I think everybody has played out the matrix enough.
