I don't know what can be done when the Federation and Government condone and approve of this kind of brutality as "crowd control". Those Officers of the Law( and I use that term lightly) should not be permitted to officiate as security in any International matches involving FIFA or UEFA. If Italy and it's fans are happy for that to occur in their own League that is their right but the world should not have to be a party to it. Ultras run their violent acts like a drug ring. There are contacts and supporters through various Leagues that come together to support each others plans for violence. Maybe the authorities should smash the ring and the need for such brutality may not be needed inside stadiums to begin with. With that said fans, should behave when they go abroad to.

I would give them an honour medal.
Have you a slight idea of what the Manchester's supportes did to provocate our police reactjon ?. Have you seen any pic of completely drunked "hoolys" ? .
Probably you've solved the problem when the stay inside the UK (where they must keep calm to avoid being catched and go into prison) but your "export sample" is not representetive of the "domestic quality"....!! Our Italian teams fans ("tifosi") are doing exactly the contrary because of our weak laws; they behave horribly here in Italy, at home and stay quiet when they go abroad. I don't excuse them (and that's why I'm watching soccer at the TV since more than 40 years) but you too should be more objective.

What action should be taken against the italian football fans who instigated the whole thing too, the italian police were edgy because of past experience with english football fans reputations it isnt suprising although wrong they took that action.
