hey guys, it's a BIKE!! Just so ya know, the freedom of riding belongs to everybody, not just those on a Harley, or a Honda, or whatever you have. This is a BROTHERHOOD, not a better-than-you-hood! We own a Harley, I am buying a Yahmaha, and my best friend has a hot lookin little VULCAN! Come on guys, lets show a little love for each other, huh?

you hit it on the head,my friend, the freedon of riding and the freedom of deciding what you want to ride.this is a wonderful nation where you have freedom to decide and noone will dictate to you.just because some has good luck with some kinda thing, and they are set on the fact you will have god luck ot is false.one medicine will not cure all people.they could be elergic go what you take and you with there medicine.. don't let people dictate to you what you ride. this is a free nation, and what works for one won't work for another .and dont let them tell you different.. i'm 60 and i have been in the same situation as you. be yourself,my friend...

True...it's an immaturity thing. As I've stated in here before...it's not the bike, it's the rider in the saddle.
Went for brief ride just last night with some folks that meet at a local eatery in town. Goldwings, other Honda's, Harley's, a Suzuki Trike and my Beemer. We ate, shot the bull, talked some shop and rode.

I think alot of it is just jokes and not real animosity. I ride with Harleys, jap bikes, european bikes... whatever. I look at the character of the person on the bike, not what they are riding.
Alot of the comments you read on here are just jokes. Dont get me wrong, there is plenty of animosity between some riders, and that will never change.
I think the harley guys or eurpopean bike guys think that jap bike riders are immature and reckless (and many of them are) Or maybe they think that the jap bike riders hate them so they decide to hate the jap bike riders first.
Whatever the reason, your absolutely right- this is a brotherhood!

Yup- it's definitely sisterhood, too. I ride a Harley but I'll ride with anyone on any kind of bike as long as they're not a jerk.

Ride what you like, and I'm not really sure it's a brotherhood. I have a Saturn car, but that doesn't mean I have to go to the barbecues at the local dealership.

P.S. My motorcycle is a beater. Still useful though. Whatever you're riding is better than mine.

Right on "brother", although it is also a sisterhood. It is not WHAT you are riding it is THAT you are riding that's important. Harley, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Moto Guzzi, BMW, or Ducati, etc..they're all a blast.

A TRUE biker rides them all! I like my rice, I like my Harley, I especially like my totally hand crafted and plated by me (helped to be a machinist in a plating factory) Triumph T120R! In my avatar! Oh, I cant forget my KZ1000 LTD I bought from the police bike auction, stripped, reworked, twin turbos, its a smokin killer machchine!
