Unlike other media channels PBS has a reputation for airing balanced, well documented materials. Should they require Burns to get it right or not show it if he doesn't? If Ken Burns won't do the right thing then PBS should. I hold them to higher standards

They should get a clue from CBS and the Don Imus debacle. It is reprehensible for Burns to continue excluding Latinos or including them without any substance in his works. This is not new for him. His "documentary" which coincidentally is supposed to air on the first day of Hispanic Heritage Month is really a Mock-umentary!
PBS should have him fix it or leave it. Although this is an important subject and the project has merit, I no longer have any tolerance for what passes for legitimate journalism. PBS should send him to FOX.

he should make a sequel to the first this time on the efforts of the latinos not just in ww 2 but all of the wars to date, and there is no lack of substance for his effort. as for financial reward, he hasn`t even started to open the coffers of the third world. that would aid pbs`s efforts in raising $$ as well.

I dunno, call Al Sharpton. He got Imus fired for a racial slur on his off time. So, if he can do that, I think he should go after Ken Burns.
just thought that getting a man fired was a little extreme, an apology and a large donation would have been suffiecient.

Latinos were not excluded. Your just mad because they weren't singled out. A crap load of PEOPLE died during the war. Everytime they say X amount of American's died that is you! You are American. They were Americans! You want equality yet when you get it you decide that you want fame, glory and an extra special pat on the back. Make up your freakin minds!

Air it as is. You can't pander to every interest group all the time and ever expect to accomplish anything worthwhile. What's next, left-handed Eskimo albino midget lesbians want their story included too?
