With all the negativity on the Internet with regards to using IE 7, I was wondering if it was safe to install it now or wait some more until all the bugs are out of it?

It is safer than IE6. Consider a different browser instead. IE7 is too slow loading pages on my PC. I have noticed a substantial difference in speed using Firefox and it provides better security compared to IE. Consider Firefox or Opera. They are very good browsers and they are free.

Many persons had problems with IE7.

There are a few other free web browsers which can cope up

It is safe enough to do Windows Updates and not much else.

Use Firefox for everything else. You'll be glad you did!
