I think that cloning humans like stem cell research & abortion will be a divided issue in the world. It took over 400 tries before Dolly the sheep was successfully cloned. I know technology has advanced since then but what happens to those that are cloned but have disfigurements or birth defects? I would imagine the power to clone humans in the wrong hands could be devastating and I forsee struggles over who should hold that power.
I would much rather fund research for stem cell research than cloning because in my opinion stem cells arent full formed humans or babies... it wouldnt be destorying a life. At least with stem cells we could grow the organs that we need to save lives.

I do think it would be a ridiculous thing to do. I think it would be a major advance but would be a big mistake. Could you imagine what it would be like if everyone was the same? Yuck. I think it would be a very boring world. I beleive it would be a threat to our society because that is not the way things are meant to be. I think alot of things could get pretty messed up.

Cloning has technically occured, but not to the stage of which is has become a fully developed human, because it would be against the Genova convention. It has been used for medical and health advancements.

It would be more crazy then it already is because you dont know who is who and plus if you clone someone their clone would have the same everything as the person that was being cloned so I really think that they need to keep cloning to scientific research.

wouldn't it really suck if there were cloning and like all that crap? do we need to see that? oh, we have that already, naturally, IDENTICAL TWINS! or triplets. we don't need anymore of that though, it would be a great threat to our society
