I tend to spend a lot of time working on my computer and notice that in periods when I am working intensively on the computer, my eyesight decreases tremendously. What is the least damaging form of computer screen? Is there another way of protecting my eyes? Thank you.

I used to get the same problem, here is what I found helped me out the most with eyestrain:
1. Simply taking breaks. Every hour or so take some calls or do paper work or look outside a window.
2. Eye wear, wear some low tension reading glasses
3. Keep your eyes hydrated. To do this you can blink often and use eye drops, which is available over the counter.
4. Dim your computer screen and tilt it up a little, make it not so bright.
5. Make sure your not typing in the dark, this increases strain.

Yes you'll with ease purchase a brand new one. However, if you do not know what you are doing, I would not do it your self. Get a tech-savvy pal to support you determine precisely what monitor you want and support you instal it. There's tons of matters that may pass flawed with you laptop (It would quick, get the cables broken, and so forth) and to you (You will also be electricuted, reduce, and so forth) P.S. Be conscious that with a few computer monitors the retail rate is so top it is inexpensive to shop for a brand new computer. Manufactures purchase 1000s of them at a time and get them inexpensive than what it's going to price you to however one. Research the price of the monitor vs. a brand new computer.

Some sorts of glasses can protect eyes so go and see an optomitrist. Also it is advised that you look away from your computer screen every 15 minuets and move them around a bit. Focus on objects near and far.

Get some sleep! Kidding.

There are many ways to increase screen font sizes, desktop Icons, etc.
There is also a Magnifier in Programs > Accessories that may help.

Seriously, see your Optometrist, ASAP.
