i have a anxiety disorder and its very rare that i get panic attacks..but i do get them or i worry about ...most things and for bout 3 years...my dang mouth..constantly if i smile halfway but not fully the corners of my mouth twitch and it bugs me but doesnt do it when im not smiling or smiling fully. also sometimes ill be typing or writing and ill sit and rest my body and my thumb twitches...is this a huge deal or am i worrying about nothing..this isnt a constant everyday thing...my mouth only does it sometimes when i half smile and my thumb once maybe every week or so iono...it bugs me tho and gives me the intent to crack my fingers LOL i dont twitch or shake or anything anywhere else unless im extremely nervous or scared out of my mind.

Sometimes our muscles can go thru little spasms (the thing that causes the twitching) for no reason. I sometimes get this in my sleep.

To be on the safe side I would recommend going ahead and talking to your dr to see what they think. Also, ask if they will be willing to check your thyroid because sometimes anxiety can be a symptom of thyroid disorder and diseases.

extreme question for you.....Do you're taking any meds on a normal foundation? I only ask because it may be a area result from drugs. It occurred with me on Zoloft. I had extreme heart palpitations and my pointer finger twitched uncontrolled. I had to work out a heart specialist for the middle palpitations. He said it became drug proper. after I switched meds, all of it went away. Edit: i comprehend my answer is lame in spite of the indisputable fact that that is what got here to ideas,sorry. :)
