Lions want at least a 4th rounder

If they do it will be the worst move since letting go of Gruden. They said they want at least a 5th round pick or McCown and the Lions fourth round pick for the Raider third round pick. They would obviously keep his two year contract and possibly use Andrew Walter afterwards if they don't pick up Jamarcus Russel.

If they want a quarterback they should get one in the draft (eg. Jamarcus Russel).

They wouldn't be willing to give up anything more than a 4th rounder, since they have the #1 overall and that will be Jamarcus Russell, also a QB.
McCown would only be a short term fix, and they already have that in Andrew Walter. Finally I doubt that they would give up much, since McCown didn't take a snap all of 2006.

I realize they are in dire need of a QB, but Josh Mc cown? Al would have to really be senile to want that turd. Of course he signed Aaron Brooks last season so I guess anything's possible.
