In Ga you can run an ad in the paper for 30 days saying that you are filing. Post the date and time and if they don't show then you get an uncontested divorce. Check with your local divorce attorney. You should get a free consult.

Usually they will make you run an ad the paper where he last lived. He will be given 30 days to respond and if he doesn't the divorce will be granted. The best thing to do thou is ask a lawyer, they will know the laws local to you! Good luck

in a lot of states you can file without the spouse being there unless they are children which the attorney will place public ads to contact him

the courts will try to locate your spouse.if they cant they may grant you the divorce with out them being present.
