In all seriousness, I am wondering what the statistics are.

VERY common. Women are different than men in that we don't even need an orgasm to feel satisfied. Do some research and buy a "bullet" to use during sex...it can't hurt to try.

A lot of women have trouble achieving orgasm during intercourse because the penis just doesn't hit the right spot.

The clitoris needs to be stimulated for orgasm to occur. The best position to orgasm during intercourse would be for the woman sitting astride the guy. The clitoris can then be massaged by either the girl or guy.

I am quite sure that it is normal, in that the great majority of women don't have orgasm from intercourse alone.
Most don't even come close (no pun intended).
But I can say this: to have sex with a woman who IS able to have an orgasm with intercourse is just an amazing, unbelievable and totally hot hot hot experience.
What made it even more unbelievable (and no I don't write for Penthouse), she would come faster than I would.
I don't know what percent of women are in that category, but too bad for them and us that that is NOT the norm.
I gotta get some ice water.

It's not much into relaxing it's more of how you use your muscle in your vagina. I'm not into men, but the women i have been with when i strap on it's about talking to them and finding out what spots feel good and when you hit the right spots it will be a matter of time before they have an orgasm. Men don't take the time to understand your body language. Or maybe you can get some books on how to.

Heres a reply from a fella.....hope you dont mind - but yeh seriously its normal I dont know statistics but have seen & read articles over the years to know about it.....some women fake their orgasm (no my wife doesnt bother to) my opinion is youre partner isnt turning you on enough with enough forplay or you feel anxious & a little tense ....I suggest you try & forget any pressure about having to have an orgasm get a little more relaxed by thinking its not really serious & try & have a silly fun frame of mind....talking to your partner & telling them what you like them to do that turns you on would be good too...Good luck!!

A rather high percentage of women do not reach the climax in sexual intercourse. The frigidity figures of different authors vary from 10-80 per cent and come closer to the statistics of older sexologists. Adler (Berlin) came to the conclusion that 80 per cent of women did not reach the sexual climax. Elkan guessed that 50 per cent suffered from frigidity, while Kinsey found it to be 75 per cent. Hardenberg's figures have a very wide range from 10 to 75 per cent.

Yes. Most women aren't able to orgasm through sexual intercourse alone, they need clitoral stimulation. I'd say it's probably 90% of women can't climax through sex alone.

Many, some say even most women do not orgasm during regular penetration...I always say that what I can't do with my hips, I do with my lips! No complaints so far.

Apologies, i'm a guy but...I have one word for you "Clitoris" .. learn about it, get your partner to learn about it and where/how to find it, then go for it :).

it's actually very rare for a woman to actually orgasm from penetration alone....generally they require SOME form of clitoral stimulation.
