Young white women or young black men?

In terms of educational opportunities, economic opportunities, and social standing?

And, why do you so answer?

I would say young black men face greater discrimination than young white women. I answer this way because I am a young white woman, (maybe not so young anymore) and I have never felt discriminated against.

If two people are burned and have the same injuries, how can it be decided that one suffers more than another? Being discriminated against is horrible, reguardless of the package one comes in. Consider this; society as a whole suffers because people who have the potential to make great contributions to society are repressed. That person being denied the opportunity to get a good education might just be the one who has the potential to find a cure for diabetes, AIDS or cancer. We all suffer because of discrimination.

I do not believe many black men or young white women
but Black Women of all ages
the Black men Discriminate again them
the White men,White women, and other race
Black women have a hard time in this country
But I see that Black women will fight for other races if they ask
But I have yet to see a Black men,White men or Women do the same for them. Maybe that is one reason black women group together in Love not in Hate ,the are more Religion and many do not use the blame game. We do our best to stand by other but we do not demand other to stand by us. We will protect ourselves in speak but we will help if you need it

Tough question.

I'd have to say young black men, because it is so much easier to stereotype them based on their supposed "culture." All of this bad behavior that they glorify is rubber-stamped as "black culture" by their peers and the Liberal media, so they are led to believe it is okay. However, I'm not going to give any of them an employment opportunity they deserve until they prove to me that they can be responsible and demonstrate they can operate above this so-called "black culture." So, they too are trying to deal with a double-standard.

Some one needs to let them know that being rude, degrading women, stealing, laziness and using bad language are not "black culture," nor will it get them a good job. Unfortunately, if any whites try to tell them that we're labeled as racists. If any blacks try to tell them that, they're Uncle Toms or "acting white." It's a self-defeating problem.

middle aged white women of child bearing age. they are not promoted or given the better jobs as much because some assume they will leave shortly due to pregnancy. I say white women because they do not have the advantage of quotas (hidden or legal or not).
On that same note, she would have more likely more social standing because skin colour minded people can think around the race. a black women may come in and it often assumed she from the "poor nieghborhood", etc.
Ah, it all sucks. why are we worrying and dividing ourselves anyway? maybe Blacks and Whites alike should get together and worry about the threats posed to BOTH their worlds by illegal aliens, terrorism, racism, etc.?

I would honestly say, that at one point in time, young white women suffered from discrimination in obtaining scholarships and other educational opportunities.

The invent of affirmative action has now backfired and I believe was used not in the way the founders intended. I thought it was to allow EQUAL access to further education and employment opportunities. But did not know that it excluded those who were promising and capable of performing.

on the largest scale, it's tough, i might say women because there's little protection for them. and some women say it's discrimination to have the naked girls running around which is all too common here. What do they want burrkas? and these girls get freaky of thier own free will. But some say we can't display them like that. That's tough, crosses all the lines of our American Freedoms, take my voice, take my car, leave me the booby's (that's offensive) and the beer! Please! That's all i have now. Whimper whimper.

But blacks got it rough too, certainly young men who've bought into the bad styles, and even those who are more moderate.

I would say young black men. I'm a young white woman. No one crosses the street when they see me coming. If I walk in a store no one follows me around because they think I might steal something. I've never been pulled over or arrested because I fit a description so vague that it could belong to practically anybody. Compared to young black males in the US, I really can't and shouldn't complain. They have the harder time and things need to be done about it.

c'mon...ARE YOU KIDDING ME???

Any white girl can get a job working anywhere she wants, goof off on the job AND probably still get promoted. White girls get accepted to colleges more and get bigger credit limits. And HOW MANY YOUNG WHITE GIRLS DO YOU SEE IN JAIL???

A black kid would try his best to hold a job down at Wendy's and it wouldn't be enough. Most young black kids come from broken homes and/or bad nieghborhoods, so have to grow up in the streets playing basketball, rapping or straght up crime involvement if they wanna get by, because they can't afford to go to college and they might not know anybody that can show them how to get a college loan. (thats if they qualify for one)

You think the bosses of most companies in the US, who are perverted old white men want to see a young black "nappyheaded" kid working for them or a young "pure as the virgin snow" white chic???

and the guy above me says "tough question."
hmf! who would you rather have tuck you in at night, punk.

Young black people, because white Americans don`t want to accept afro-americans as they`re own people who live in the same country , with them .
