I was driving to work this morning, and when I was almost here, the brake pedal seemed to get "looser". It didn't have as much pressure to push than usual and you had to go further to the floor to stop. The brakes are about 2 months old and my tires are new. What could it be?

Sounds like you have a leak in your brake system. I would have it Towed (DO NOT DRIVE IT) to your mechanic and have him check the system out. you may have a fractured brake hose that is leaking fluid and not holding pressure. You may also have a bad power brake booster. either way you need to have the car towed to the shop for repair. Please do not think you can just drive it. If you have to make a panic stop you will likely hit what ever it is your avoiding. Have it check out TODAY.

Have this checked immediately!! This has nothing to do with either your new brakes and tires. The next time you may have no brakes at all! You are either losing brake fluid from a leaking caliper or bad brake line, or your master cylinder has gone bad. Both these possibilities will lead to total brake failure.

The master cylinder may be failing. It probably wasn't replaced at the time of your brake service. Take it back to the service center (or have it towed, if it is not safe to drive), and have them check it. Remember, if the master cylinder was not replaced at your last brake service, it won't be under warranty. Good Luck

Have the brakes checked immediately. May be a loose bleeder, although quite probable Master Cylinder failure.
