i was thinking about going back to school to study radiologic technology and be a radiologist i did a little research online but want info from people that may work as or with radiologist...
please list five good things about the job and five bad things.

or any info you have will be great.

A radiologic technologist and a radiologist are not the same thing. A rad tech is the one who takes the x-rays; a radiologist is a doctor who interprets the images.

Radiology is a much wider field these days. You can specialize in nuclear medicine and do MRIs, cardiac MRI, CTs, etc. No doubt in the larger cities you will stay busy. My wife works for a major company in Austin, TX and they schedule some form of xray 100s of times a day, 5 days a week. I used to develop the xrays myself. Not much fun. You are in the dark most of the time.
