A fax is similar to the pen, and in fact, is the same thing only carried one step further. Like the pen, a letter can be written and sent by mail while a fax can be written and sent by machine.

i know it got nothing to do with ur actual question but i have been thinking about the sentence "the pen is mightier than the sward" and i have been wandering why people say that. and i have came up with a possible theory.
What if it means that.
You can kill someone and they are dead so what.
but if you write something really really embarrassing about someone and then give it to everyone you know then they will be humiliated for the rest of there life.
That is what i think that sentence means myself.
sorry if i board u lol

fax is not a threat because it just doesn't have the reach. relatively few communicate via fax and mainly used for serious business communications where hard copy is required.

Think that depends what height you drop it from, or which bit of the anatomy that you aim it at.. with the right technique you could do some pretty severe damage, especially if the paper tray falls out...

You could get your finger sucked in there and break a nail or something. Pretty dangerous I'd say.
