The normal program that's used is Adobe, but that's expensive. Serif PagePlus 11 is one of only a few programs that lets you change text in pdf's. To get a cheap copy get an older version from the front of one of the mags or from "www.freeserifsoftware.com". Install and register with Serif. You can now join their Select club. When you have joined you can buy the latest version for £20 rather than the usual £100 plus. This is also an excellent desktop publishing program which also includes some photo editing functions.

Unless you buy Adobe Acrobat ( Not Acrobat Reader), you can't.

If you use Open Office, you may be able to copy all text from the PDF using the Text Tool, edit it and save as a new PDF file.
