Does this phrase REALLY come from the Bible?

My vicar told me that the phrase 'life is like a box of chocolates' comes from the Bible. Which page is it on?

(I know there are many different bible editions - that last bit about the page was just me being a fool.)

No that doesnt come from the bible. The phrase "life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are gonna get" comes from the movie Forest Gump. If you have never seen Forest Gump, it is a great movie and you should deffinitly rent it or borrow it form someone! =]

Your vicar is playing with you. Even tho I am not totally familiar with the bible, they didn't have BOXES of chocolates when the bible was written. So I will say he is playing with you. And if he says that I AM WRONG, then ask him to show it to you. He won't as he can't.

I think they may be pulling your leg my Darling.

For a start Cocoa is not grown anywhere near the Bible lands and secondly, Forrest Gump was quoting his Mother.

Yes dear it is, however I am unable to tell you which page because at present I have a bout of the runs and have been using handfuls of pages to wipe my bleeding ringpiece that looks like a blood orange at present.

lol...It's in the chapter called kinder under the "Ferrero Rocher" verse...maybe it's a similar allegory or analogy or comparison or whatever is called. I don't think it was a box of chocolates though...lol sorry I made fun of it..it was a nice question :)
