The #2 pencil is soo cool that he doesnt even bother with starting numericals at #1.... he's cool #2 :-)

#1 is softer lead & #2 is perfect for writing. (I hate #3 & #4 pencils!-the lead is too hard.) as of #1 pencils I haven't seen one that I know of but I'd choose it for my art.
