Why are some people so freaking rude here?

A lot of ignorant people here seem unaware the 95% of the world is NOT American and do not necessarily speak English as a native tongue.

Save the insults, turn off the 'reality' TV shows and get some world culture...maybe then Americans wouldn't have such a bad reputation of being completely intolerant.

God, people like that make it embarrassing to be a Westerner sometimes.

First, I made a typo in my question, and I have no excuse... I am Canadian, a native English speaker and also PRO American -I don't want the world to hate you.

Update: www = World Wide Web, just because someone posts here doesn't mean they speak English natively -if a person has the courage to learn another language, help them -don't insulting them for trying...

I totally agree with immigrants being required to learn English -we relaxed the rules here and have a huge problem now with ESL resources and communities tend to segregate themselves through lack of English skills.

People are more rude here because they are not face to face with you and so they have the balls of an elephant. They quickly change to the size of a mouse if they are face to face with someone. As far as your comment on poor english I would disagree with you. If you are going to live in America you SHOULD learn the language. My Dad did it when he came here because he felt honored to be here. He was born here, lived here till he was 5, his brilliant mother moved him back to Slovakia and he got them back over here when he was 21. First thing he did was get a job working nights in a foundry and enrolled in day school to re-learn english because he respected this country. He was a Korean war vet and was proud of this country. Immigrants today are LAZY bottom line. They don't want to make no effort to show the respect. You move anywhere else in this world you'd better learn their language because they are not going to break their backs to understand you like they do here. If you don't believe that, you've never left the United States. Immigrants are catered to waaaaaaay to much. What other country would allow over 3 million illegal immigrants protest in the streets of their country??? that would be zero!!!!!! THAT IS A FACT!

You're embarrassed to be a "Westerner".. then leave. There are plenty of "Easterner's", and other 'ers' that would love to be here int he US.

As for being rude, there could be many reasons. Everyone can act tough, sexy, innocent, whatever from behind a keyboard in their home. And in case you have not noticed, the world in general is a rude, harsh place.

Sounds like you need to get off the computer and get some sun. Maybe you need to take a trip. Fiji looks like a beautiful place (I know this because I saw it on "Survivor"). As far as the English language goes, I think you did an excellent job with your rant, and I like how you ended it with a little prayer.

Not all ladies are impolite. But she had mainly simply had a fairly dangerous get a divorce and her peers have been seeking to cheer her up. That what it sounds love to me. Try to not allow it get to you although there are lots of many many different ladies in the market. And additionally query your causes. Did you suppose whats up, "I might fairly get to understand her." Or have been you pondering, "I marvel how she is in mattress?" If it was once the latter, thats why her peers stepped in. If it was once the previous, than simply do not allow it hassle you, every person has a foul day.
