I think it's a borderline - extremely funny and good at blowing holes in some of the sh ite that goes on in modern life, but sometimes drops to the lowest common denominator. I think the world is a better place with Trey & Matt

South Park is one of the GREATEST comedy of all time, if not the greatest!
It's both offensive, and hilarious. U know, South Park delivers great messages. Dont turn off the TV after seeing 1 or 2 offensive acts. Wait 'til the end.
Every episode has many themes and meanings. You just gotta look behind it, to find for yourself. And its plots are well written, unlike Family Guy, which is a compile of ....irrelevant cheap gags with no meaning what so ever.
"The simpson", altho is getting boring, at least each episode has some meaning, little or big. But SOUT PARK all the way!! xx

I really enjoy South Park, and I think it's a biting satire that makes some very good points. Other times it just goes too far for a cheap laugh, which I don't like, but the show's all about pushing the boundaries of comedy.
As for being 'stereotypical' - I don't believe that is true at all. South Park mocks many stereotypes and shows how ridiculous and absurd a lot of those prejudices are.

Neither really, I used to watch it all the time, but I went off it in a really big way. I think the Simpsons is the greatest satirical comedy of the present age anyway, it's cleverer and doesn't rely on crude jokes to get it's point across.

The greatest satirical comedy of our age. It may offend the thinner skinned folks out there. Those who are offended by the show should turn it off and take a deep look inside of them. They should ask themselves . . . "why am I such a wimp?"

I love it - it tackles issues that a lot of other shows stay away from. IT's fair as it offends every group equally!
Favourite episodes include the brown noise, When Timmy and Jimmy join the Crips and when teh fairground comes to town and the boys declare shenanigans! (and Cartman thinks he is a vietnamese hooker)

I don't find it offensive it's only a bit of fun.
There are times when it is just genius and I love it but there was this one episode where they were eating foetuses and I found that a tad disturbing...
In the main though - brilliant
