The first sign for most is the lack of a period, though there are women who swear they knew from the time of conception. Hormone levels change and some get nausea within the first few weeks, sometimes lasting for months. Others don't.
Then into the 3-6 week the breasts starts to feel heavier, the aureole's darken. There are changes to the genitals, also darkening, sometimes appearing blueish or purplish. Sometimes they appear slightly swollen.
The tummy usually doesn't start to swell until the 3-4 months.
A blood test can be done 2-3 days after a missed period, and urine tests usually only give a 90% after two weeks past your missed period.

look, u can never tell with this pregnancy thing. it may come in different forms. The commonest ones are cramping, fatigue, breast soreness, nausea and vomitting, backpain and of course a missed period. But tell U what? I'm 5 days late now for my period (which has never happened to me b4 except when I first conceived) and I dont feel any of the list above. and in my 1st pregnancy, i started having symptoms the very day I conceived! Believe U me. So u can never tell. takes different shapes.
