Not a chance with Ronaldo signing a contract extention he is not leaving for a while, at least 2-3 years now that he is tied down for another 5.

Well maybe with a pay increase for Ronaldo as well. Real Madrid will think that they came close to signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United last summer, but the cold reality is that Manchester United are not willing to let go of their prized asset unless a crazy money offer comes along.
Real Madrid are, of course, famous for their crazy money and with Ronaldo in red-hot form, it’s not hard to imagine Capello’s dour Madrid getting a much-needed boost from Ronaldo’s skills and talents.

If I'm not mistaken that would be close to 70 million dollars, which doesnt sound to bad. but Cristiano has a contract with Man U. that doesnt expire until 2010, so he can't go no where, unless the team trades him, or the team decides to sell him.

maybe enough for kaka, which has been a target of Real Madrid for awhile, but after Ronaldo's breakout season, Man Utd will definitely not let go of Ronaldo
