You are surrounded by magnetism in devices every day. your house lighting (transformers) cooking (microwave)tv set,radio,phone,your synchronus clock ( line freq) ind motor. the answer is infinite because man is a curious creature and figures out new ways to do things in which magnetism is applied and involved. look at the medical applications. electron microscope, catscan, xray, all the instruments that require power supplies have transformers built to insure safety.

It is amazing but magnetism is a very under studied field. We hardly know anything about it so practical things to do with it are also very limited.

Frictionless surfaces on super fast trains is the most famous one. Superconductors also have magnetic properties.

One theory is that magnetism in future will lead to fuel free space travel. Virtual weightlessness. Reversing gravity.

There as as many uses for magnetism as there are combinations of magnetic entities in the universe. Which means at least
