If you ask the Indian fans they will say that Sachin Tendulkar should not retire now. The Indian fans would like Sachin Tendulkar to play for atleast 5 to 10 years or even 15 years. But the fact is that Sachin Tendulkar as other cricket players cannot go on playing since the human body aging since he is a human being. If you ask me, I would say yes Sachin Tendulkar should retire from International cricket. Since Sachin Tendulkar is a living legend he can guide the youngsters with regard to batting. Any batsman can learn a lot from Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin Tendulkar is a living legend. If you are asking this question from BCCI point of you I am not in BCCI or selection committee. What BCCI should do is use Sachin Tendulkar's experience to improve the batting of the Indian cricket team.

Since Sachin Tendulkar has set many records in ODI, some of which will remain for many years to come and as his performance in the recent past is not at all satisfactory, I personally feel that he should retire from ODI amd concentrate in Test Matches.

I think Sachin should retire now because he has played a lot during his career.
2. He is becoming old and pave way for younger players.
3. He has made enough money by means of cricket, now let others make some money.

With out any doubt!!!!!!!!!!!He should have done that long back.It is better to retire than being kicked out.A great player like Brain Lara out of his loss decided to retire.Sachin should learn something from him.He is a setting sun.All the game that was within him has come out.He dosent have anything left in him.He should retire at least to save the little reputation that he has now

Certainly not. This is not the right time. Many more years of cricket left in him. He is just 34 years old and capable of being playing cricket for another four years. He should retire only after playing world cup of 2011 and not before that. Who soever talking about his retirement is talking absurd.

Although he is not in good form India still relies on him most of the time, he can only say what he will do ,i think none can force him retire..
