THere aren't any real signs that are positive give a ways for when to move her. Some of the things mentioned above work well for signs, but some guppies never show these signs at all. It's really hit or miss and if you think your fish is close to birthing then go ahead and put her in your breeder box. She will be fine in the box for several days. I would also suggest you place a few plastic plants under the box to make her a bit more comfortable.

asap. The sooner the better. The trick is catching her w/o stressing her out. Allow her to swim to the net even if it does take long. I know, I know, painful!! it's worth the time though. Or you could gently sneak up behind her and swiftly take her up and into the box, no problem. What you don't want is her darting around trying to run away and pressing herself down on the gravel. Guppys have the ability to choose when they give birth but usually it takes about a week after the point you're at for the fry to come. Good Luck!

when the fish starts to behave strangely.eg.resting on gravel, separating itself from the rest of the group or hiding. if they happen, put em in witin a 10-24hrs.

as posted above also look at signs of not eating. she will take food in mouth and spit it out. I can put her in it now which will allow her to get useto it and relax before birth.
