I have pretty thick skin and what most people think of me doesn't matter. There are however a select few people who's opinion means everything to me so if they said something bad about me it would cut me to the quick.

i like to think that i have thick skin, but there are those people who can get pass your defences and make you thin skinned.

thick skinned, i fear i'm part of a vanishing breed. people are sooo thin skinned, everybody gets their feelings hurt and they whine about it. being an adult means that you have some control over your feelings, besides, someone dosen't hurt your feelings, its that you have allowed your feelings to get hurt by someone. learn the lesson and get on with life

I consider myself to be thick-skinned, because I let what people have to say about me stop bothering me a while ago. You can never please everybody all the time.

I am 59 years old and spent 22 of them in the military, my skin is almost bulletproof.
