I sit in my pajamas the whole day, close the curtains lock the doors and do not answer the phone. I sleep, I realax and take a hot bath with a couple of glasses of red wine while listening to music. I feel not great but lots better the next day.

If the depression gets very deep I visit my family doctor and, unfortunately, go on anti-depressants for no longer than 3 months. Sadly some anti-depressants cause erectile dysfunction so believe me Krishnaa, I have to be bloody depressed. Just get help, remember you can't often handle it alone which is not a weakness.

When I'm really depressed I write in my private blog and spend time alone. I lie down, listen to music and draw the curtains. When I'm feeling a bit better, that's when I talk to someone about what's bothering me.

The same as when I could not sleep.
Drink.
I was up to 7 glasses of 95% proof everclear and absinthe. Fortunately now I have been able to cease this practice.

Sometimes I lie in bed trying to sleep because depression makes me fatigued. On other occasions I take out my photo album and relive happy moments.

Drive. Sometimes for hours. Some would say it's a mental form of running from my problems, but I don't think so. I just like to think and go somewhere new. Also I like looking at the people driving alongside of me. I don't know why.

Other times I just go to sleep because when I am asleep I can't consciously think of my problems. I just cry myself to sleep and pray to wake up dead.

Sleep, talk to friends that I trust, and drink whatever I can get my hands on. Whether it be alcoholic or not. Sometimes just staring into space helps collect my thoughts.

Lie in my bed, cover me up the head, telephone off, family outside the locked door and let me be for a couple of hours.
Thank God, it doesn't last long for me.
I hope for everybody too.
