They are both equally strong teams and they both have had a succesful run so far in the world cup.In the recent history New Zealanders performed well against the Sri Lankans but in the game of cricket past performance is no gurantee that they will continue do the same in the future. Also Sri Lankans beat New Zealand in many occasions in the past Equal chances to both teams so best of luck to both teams.
How ever if you check out the odds the bookies suggest a new zealand win.

Sri Lanka is a really strong team in this world cupthey have a very fair chance of winning this match ...anyways now that my country....India ... is out of the World cup after a few humiliating defeats ...why not support my neighbours ?

in my opinion new zealand can win the match but they have to watch out for major players like murlitharan and jaysuriya who can change the face of any match and new zealnad has good all rounders which can handle any situations. For further info contact http://cricinfo.com
