I would by undeveloped land in order to save it from logging or other destructive fates.
I would build a small home on this land, where I would make a shelter for animals in need.
I would pay off all my credit cards and never owe those corporate greed mongers another penny.
I would leave an envelope of money near the bus terminal for someone to find and secretly watch their happy face as they find it.

I had to think there for a minute because I'm a Yank. I was thinking a million pounds of what? Booze, Broads, and I would move to Europe.

I would have a good look around for hidden cameras, I'd be convinced I'd be on one of those 'we play stupid practical jokes on gullible members of the public' programmes then I would take it to the police in case a pensioner had lost it. It would probably turn out that it had been stolen from the very police station I took it to and therefore I had returned it to its rightful owners but I'm sure they'd give me a tenner for my honesty.

I would pay off my mortgage, and buy 3 more houses to rent out. I would put £50,000 in my daughters savings account, give some to my parents, in-laws and sister. Pay for all my friends and relatives to come to my wedding in Mexico and buy a new car (oh and I'd pass my driving test too).
Anything left over I would spend on sweets!

so yeah - i would go SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd buy a garden flat, furnish it with everything i have ever wanted, buy an SUV, a sports car and a sedan.... take my family on a cruise, buy some stock market shares, put a smaller chunk on investment, errrrmmmmm - then just spend the rest on an as and when needed basis - like for fuel, groceries, manicures, pedicures, what what what what..

i would start a school for orphanes and provide them with schooling food and shelter OR i could spent the rest on a trip around the globe. Both will make feel the king of the globe

if it was pounds as in £££ i would give some of it to charity, then go to hmv and buy all the cd's i've wanted for a long time, then if there's any left over i'd stick in the bank for a rainy day

Thats a hard one. I would really want to keep it.
If I knew it wnet missing from people who steal, deal drugs or are just bad people I would keep it.
If not I would probably hand it in eveb though it would kill me and just hope to god I got a hansom reward.
Or just run like hell and keep the lot.
I don't know what I would really really do unless I came across that much money.
