You can give it to your mother but you have to tell your mother that the chocolate actually came from your great mother. Explain it to her that you want to make up for the Easter, I know she will understand and will be touched.

Okay. So the point of the matter is that you're flat broke and don't have anything to give your Mother.

First of all, do not give the chocolates away. Put them on the table as a centerpiece to share with everyone. With a note that says Easter Treats.

Secondly, this may sound childish, but Mom's love it no matter what age. Make your Mother a handmade card, put a little poem inside, and put a handmade coupon for a chore that she doesn't like to do (one load of dirty dishes, vacuuming the house, mowing the lawn, raking the lawn, cleaning a bathroom, etc). Don't forget to sign, "Love ____(your name)" on the card.

Happy creating. It's easy.

You're overlooking the one, obvious solution. Don't eat the chocolates, eat grandfather and grandmother. That way [1] you won't feel hungry and tempted by the candy and [2] they won't be able to say anything about the origin of the chocolates to your mother because [3] they'll be quietly digesting in your tummy. As far as great-grandmother, forget it. She will. In fact she probably doesn't even remember your name by now, let alone a box of sweets from last week.

Buy your mother something else or some flowers. You can give her the chocolates too, if you do not want them, but you did not choose that gift for her. The point of a gift ifs to honor that person with a thought from you, not your grandmother.

you should talk to your grandmother-father etc., that you can't afford to buy something for your mother and that you want to give her the chocolates. and ask them not to tell your mother about that. Or, you can do something for your mother like painting an egg with a marker or something made by you. She will appreciate more if she knows that you made something by hand for her and that you tried. good luck!!! Happy Easter!

Ask your mothers sisters fathers uncles brothers aunts nephews next door neighbour what do to. Im sure they will offer some advice on weather or not you should eat the chocolates or give them to your mother.

Sorry no i wouldn't hand them down to my mother. If U love ur mother more enough u should be able to find something so cheap from the store.
Bet ur great-gran wouldnt be too happy too. She may not say much. But i might hurt her deeply inside. U wouldn't want that.

How understanding is your great-grandmother? If she is understanding, then tell her about your intention.

Under no circumstances try to hide from her and lie to your mom. And, yes, it would be cheap. Why don't you buy something for your mother? Something symbolic, you don't have to spend a fortune on it.

Eat the chocolates, it seems like your Mother has had enough sugar in her life if she had you at 15 years of age!
