I don't see where healthy even comes into it. If you are caught, you own up to it. Just don't expect him to trust you if you are telling him lies.

EVERY BODY LIES - WITHOUT EXCEPTION!
It's not a thing u have to panic about as I'm sure he lied u at least once as well. Lie is a self protection that people use mostly. It's always nice do not lie of curse, to be honest to each other...but this is what we-people do mostly, even if we refuse to confess about it.
It’s just like a nature-problem of people can’t be managed perfectly.

In ur case… better to accept the lie when u've been caught. Turn it in to a joke; it helps a lot.
Let him understand that sometimes the lie can come out of ur lips even without planning it. Tell him that all people lie sometimes as well, even him. If u didn’t catch him, it doesn’t mean he never lies.
I'm sure u didn't want to hurt him, so let him know about it as well.
Good luck to u! :)

that is spoke of as a womans instinct. each and every thing is ideal there in the front of your face. i'm no longer asserting that he has does something incorrect yet, in spite of the indisputable fact that the way issues are going he will. in case you stuck him in those little lies then imagine what different lies he ought to have instructed or secrets and techniques that he ought to have. have self belief is the biggest element in a relationship and he has completely violated that. You and your husband favor to sit down down and characteristic an fairly extreme communicate about somethings

Just come clean about it and have a plausible excuse for lying in the first placce.

Most white lies are for innocent reasons, convenience or to avoid leading to the uncovering of a bigger badder lie. If possible avoid making the situation worse.

Apologize immediately!!!!
Why did you do it? If you were trying to avoid hurting someone, explain it.
If you were trying to get away with something, tell him why AND DON'T DO IT AGAIN.
Lies can get you in so much trouble and cause you to feel guilt, because you are. I know, I used to instinctively try to keep people from feeling bad or getting hurt. Stuff like making excuses for my brothers and sisters for not coming to see my Mother. She knew I was making excuses and assumed there was more to it than just their laziness and lack of respect. So I know the guilt.

It would help to know what the white lie was. Just come clean and apologize.

You shouldn't be lying to your husband unless you are giving him a surprise. How can he trust you? One of the key ingredients to marriage is trust. If you have no trust, you will soon lose your marriage.

Admit your lie, maybe blow it off as a joke. If you can't do that, then maybe the lie wasn't as white as you claim. :)

well a white lie may not mean much to you, but for him it means you can't be trusted. I would expect you to have a look at the behaviour if you were my property.
