I feel so annoyed and left hanging at the end of every episode, but I can't stop watching! They just keep adding more and more mysteries and questions and plot twists, but never really resolve any of them. I am waiting for something huge, otherwise I will be really disappointed. Sometimes I wonder if they didn't think the show would make it past the 1st season and they kinda ran out of things to write, so they just keep making **** up and it gets stranger and stranger.
So what now? Is Sun gonna die? Anyone else think Michael and Walt will be making a comeback? Juliet - who is she lying to, Ben or Jack? So many questions. And don't even get me started on Locke, man, what were they thinking when they made him blow up the sub??

This season is really hurting the viewers i agree, The first season was excellent because you had no idea what the heck was going on. Season two was good, but they whole button pushing killed a lot of the energy the show had, The finale was excellent. If you watched it from Season 1 most people more than likely thought the story would be way diffrent than it turned out to be. I mean, it started off with a Monster, a bunch of characters who seemed unpredictable, and a setting that was made for a awesome suspenseful show. Lots of people figured there was something supernatural about the show. I mean a airplane crashes on a !@#$ed up island. Now you know the characters, and you know a lot of the secerts. The story is fading from Suspense to a Drama. Which is fine, but you still need to have those HOLY CRAP Moments that Lost hasn't had since well just about the start of season 2. This may have answered, or may not have.

Have you not been watching this season? Actually, the ones before the break weren't that good - I was seriously in the same boat you're in now. But since February the episodes are playing more and more like Season 1, which is how I got hooked in the first place. I CANNOT miss an episode - it's just that good! Maybe you should review some of the best stuff from Season 1 and even Season 2, and then maybe the most recent episodes, and then you might see the pattern emerging. Although, the episode recently where Paulo and Niki die was just an oddball episode that doesn't seem to make much sense now.......
Anyway, that's my two cents.

The season Premier of Lost had everyone on there seats, only to dissapoint everyone by not showing both stories. The first seven episodes or so really dissapointed me, and I almost lost faith in the show. But After seeing the last three episodes, I feel that Lost is finally back on track. With the addition of new mysteries (Jacob, the "others" Leader) I feel that now many of the old questions are being answered, we can finally continue with the show. Not many things are left unknown about the others now, except why they have remained on the island. But I can tell you that my source (who works as a grip on the show) has assured me that things are finally looking up.

I don't think it's losing it's luster, but I do think a lot of people are getting tired of never having anything answered. I think they need to answer some old questions before throwing in new ones.
As for me, when I start a series I try to finish it out, and that's what I'm trying to do with Lost, but I still have my questions.
Like:
Did Walt and Michael ever make it home? or are they wandering out there somewhere?
What relationship does Ben have with that lady that wanders around the jungle?
New Question:
How was Ben born on the island if no one had ever been able to give birth on the island before Claire got there???

Three weeks ago I would have agreed, but were you watching last night? They actually finally answered a few questions; like the Others didn't know the plane was going to crash, but had the ability to immediately call up files on people (sounds kind of like govt agencies with initials). We also know now why they were stealing children and pregnant women - becuase the Island causes pregnant women to die. After weeks of being disgusted with the show, I am finally back in the groove and don't plan to miss next week. Especially I know I was right about Juliet being a spy for the Others and not left behind like Saint Jack thinks. When Said and Sawyer find out for sure, I hope that whip Jack's butt for bringing her.

Interesting question! I'm torn between wanting to tune in and not giving a damn. They're not answering any questions. The questions are just spiraling out of control. Now there are more questions than ever. I waited one year for the show to explain Walt's kidnapping. And what happened? He rode off on a sailboat with Michael. No explanations given. The show doesn't really do a good job of explaining any of the litte mysteries of the island. I'm a little disgusted.

I admit that for a while I might have agreed with you (particularly earlier this season), but here lately I'm getting back into it.
Now that "the others" storyline is merging into the "castaways" storyline, "Lost" is starting to feel like its old self again.
Granted, it still has a ways to go, but I have it on good authority that the next few weeks will give some of the answers we all crave.

the beginning of this season dragged because i expecting more to be revealed from living with the others. after the break it slowing picked back up. the paulo spider episode was bogus. any need for that? really? sum up their story from their eyes and then kill them off. wow!
the feel-good epi. with hugo and charlie on their joy rise was relief. a little hope.
the desmond bizzare epi. should have made you think all that luster is back.
i'm waiting for the finale. i hope we either see micheal come back or desmond;s girlfriend's seamen locate them. you got to hand it to the writers, it can a couple of episodes can hit of miss, but they make it up in the finales they have shown use.
do you guys get excited like me in the beginning, and i mouth the words, "previously on lost..."

I agree scary-looking-guy. It seems like whenever they are running low on ideas they just introduce another character or spend the entire episode in flashback mode. It is time for them to either cut back on the insanity and continue or just wrap up the series before it gets worse (not going to happen).
