i think they have a shot at the 8th seed. with Aldridge and Roy coming up and maturing... with Randolph... they have a solid chance. They just need to stay health and maybe pick up a player or two that would put them over the top. They also would probably need a better bench... they should probably go after signing rashard lewis... someone who can finish from anywhere on the court.

Maybe next year. We'll see what Pritchard does with the draft pick. I think he may trade it away for someone. Put Jack, Outlaw and the first round pick for a veteran. Rashard Lewis maybe? Though Seattle probably wouldn't let him come to Portland. Sergio will be starting at the PG next year, I think, and Z-Bo needs to go so that Aldridge can start at PF. Blazers need a center and a small forward. I'm sure Magloire goes and Pryzbilla looks to have gotten paid way too much. Miles will (hopefully) not come back and Portland buys out his contract maybe. IF they get a decent center or a great SF, they have a good chance. Prichard had an incredible draft last year, so it will be exciting to see what he does this summer. With the right moves, Ptown is in!

I don't think they will do it next year, but the year after is a definite possibility. They have a good young team that needs a little time to develop. A couple years they got a good shot in making the playoffs.
Brandon Roy is great.

Very good. I was at that game tonight against Houston. Portland will be a very dangerous team in the near future.

not much of a chance..mostly young roster..4 rookies..rookie of the year b roy..2 2nd yr players... a 3rd yr player who hasnt proved himself /outlaw..a 5th yr offensive guy only randolph/ the restof the roster expendable..miles/magliore/przybilla/lafrentz/fred jones/dickau..a couple of Dleague lifers udoka/schenscher..mcmillan is a coach who doesnt like to play rooks unless he has to so the roster says ..no playoffs soon....
