In Canada they're about the size of a Kmart, but in America their so huge

i actually wish they would go away around here. we have one about every 10 miles its a disgrace...!!!

Americans love to shop I guess b/c if there was a need in Canada I am sure they'd get more. They are also waistfull with building in US. I know of three Walmarts that were built knowing that they would be reduing the work later. One was built to make an addition and close to the first opening they decided just to build somewhere else in a couple years instead. Jeeze

That is an excellent question. I have never been to America, so I wouldn't know. But, being a Canadian, I have come to realize that Everything in the states is bigger. Including the stores. They hate the fact that Canada is bigger in land, so they feel they must compensate.

Havent you heard. They're bigger because we Americans are all morbidly obese and cant fit throught the normal sized walmarts. :0)

Canadians are probably intelligent enough keep their money in Canada instead Arkansas, so Arkansas decided not to let Canada have a big@$$ Wal-Mart.

because thats where they are mainly focused at, walmart does research to the extreme when it comes to openign up a new store at any location, they basically made specially for that spesfeci area, they try their best to make it cheap but at the same time VERY profitable...

The regular Wal-Marts are about the size of K-Marts in the US, but in the US, we also have Super Wal-Marts besides the regular ones, which are bigger. You would have to ask Wal-Mart why the size of the stores vary.
And, we also have Sam's Clubs, a division of Wal-Mart, which are huge. They are warehouse stores.
