Don't lie down, don't watch TV, don't read.
Eat food, drink lots of water, and find a funny website to laugh at and pass the time away.
But I wouldn't recommend staying up all night. There are many insomniacs out there who wish they had a choice. Plus, it's REALLY bad for you to lose normal sleep. You'll regret it tomorrow!

science - do something that you enjoy, and something that keeps your mind sharp.
If driving long distances - for instance - it's best to listen to music that you can sing along to. Singing along uses the memory portion of your brain to remember the words. If you're singing along, you must also enjoy the music.
sugar and caffine have the side-effect of wearing off and leaving you more exhausted

yep sleep all day drink coffee snort some coke..im only kidding with the coke...say no to drugs!!! usually sleepin all day works for me thats why my @$$ is up right now answering crazy questions on yahoo

I would say talking to someone, something to keep you entertained. HAving someone with you and lots of sugar. Or come up with creative stuff and stupid stuff that will keep your attention away from sleep
