how do we catch a crocodile or alligator?

Why do you want to catch a croc or gator? In the states where they live wild here in the U.S. it's illegal for you to touch them much less try to catch them. If it's looking at your kids or pets, you call your state wildlife commission or whatever your state calls it, and they'll deal with it. If you're wanting to be involved with the public hunts some states have, there are classes that you have to go to beforehand. If you have ANY BUSINESS WHATSOEVER TO BE CATCHING AN ALLIGATOR OR A CROCODILE, YOU WOULD ALREADY KNOW HOW TO DO IT. Also, if you're in the U.S., and you are messing with a crocodile, you are committing a felony and should drop all ideas of doing so immediately.

Crocodile or an Alligator catch require skill,alertness and patience.TRY TO ACT AS UNDER IF YOU HAVE COURAGE TO DO SO......
1 Locate the area where these animal frequently found.
2 Study the behaviour habit ate and the size of the reptile.
3 Visit the site at different period of the day and night.
4 If you can manage, late hours are preferred
5 Arrange for the favourite bate.
6Throw the bate daily at a particular time and place to make him habitual to visit the place
7 Make a strong trap.
8 Fix the trap around his neck and pull it hard with the help of your friends
9 As soon as the animal is out of the pool cover his eyes and quickly & jump over it .
10 Tie its snout with strong string
11 Pull it out.Mission is compleated
(Killing the animal for any perpose is an offence in INDIA)

y would u want to?? trust me, u dont want to take on something that is such a well designed killing machine that it hasnt changed much since the age of the dinosaurs!!
if u do want to, get in touch with the experts, the guys who do it for a living, at the alligator/croc parks etc. better yet, work with them for a bit before tryin..

Use a rope with a slip not end to try and get around its mouth, once you get his mouth secured shut with the rope, then get a buddy to play steve irwin on its back, just watch out for the tail. Once your buddy is securely on top of the croc or gator, put black electrical tape around it's mouth, and a cloth over it's eyes... I dunno sometime's people tie their feet as well... just depends on how big it is I guess

call animal control, but if it's urgent have a couple people with you to distract him while you walk behind it and if you can, jump on its back and shut its mouth, hold it while someone else gets duct tape to tape its mouth shut. then contain it somehow untill someone can come and relocate it.
