My husband wants to get my name tatooed on himself. I have heard from different people "thats bad luck" or "everyone I know who gets thier spouses name tatooed, end up spliting up". Has this been a myth, has anyone else heard of this?

let's see, tommy lee and pam anderson had each other's name tattooed on the ring finger.

johnny depp had wynona ryder's name tattooed.

i think dave navarro had carmen electra's initial tattooed.

make what you want of it.

Tattooing is both foolish and chidish but does not influence luck. There is no such thing as bad or good luck that is influenced by things or events.
Any way your husband is acting very immature by getting a tattoo.

bad luck doesnt exist. there's the placebo effect but not bad luck. i think it might not be wise for a couple thats dating to get their names tattooed on each other because they arent stable yet. but if your married getting a little ink isnt going to uproot your relationship.

Its funny you say that when I was dating my sons father he tattooed my name in 2 places on him & we never married as planned & are no longer together, & so did my cousins husband who had her name on him they are now divorced in new relationshps. I have never heard that but I wish I had've then I would have told hm no I thought it was special.

It is superstitious. Though I don't get the whole tatoo thing anyway.

There are a lot of people that say that, I have heard of a lot of people splitting after wards I would advise him not to have your name put on him.

Only if you divorce and he has to pay to have it covered up. Then it's just bad luck for him and you wont care then anyway

THERE IS NO MYTH ABOUT IT A TATTOO WILL LAST LONGER THAN THE ART,IF HE WANTS 2 WEAR UR NAME TIL DEATH DON'T STOP HIM U OBVIOUSLY INTIMEDATE & HE NEEDS THAT TO TELL COCKS BACK OF. IF U & I WERE FACE 2 FACE WE WOULD BE ROLLING. ENCOURAGE HIM I WILL MAKE HIM FEEL BETTER ABOUT UR RELATIONSHIP, NOT U DON'T B STUPID

I think it's sweet! I'm not really into tattoo's, and neither is my husband, but if he wanted to put my name on him, I would be happy about it!
