The game is kind of old I think it had "Quest" in the title, I thik it was popular and had sequels and may have even spawned a space spin-off, the key thing about it was that it was seemless 2-D animation kind of like sword and the stone, Disney almost

Sounds like "King's Quest" to me - I loved that game!
I know what tyou mean by the space one - I had that too...I think that might have been "Space Quest" - they had a martian cantina similar to the one in Star Wars and you had to read the graffiti on the wall as a clue, I remember

I think it was called dragon slayer... I could be wrong...maybe dragon quest... I can't remember either. now that is going to bother me...
