Slamming around in the pit with extremely cool people who you don't even know but they'll pick you up if you fall. And they almost never hit girls as hard as they hit guys. You get pushed around, shoved, you fall on your *** but it's all in the spirit of rock'n'roll and you have a f*cking great time!

To mosh: A way of expressing yourself at an mental rock/punk concert. Almost always done in a "pit" with extremely cool people who you don't even know but they'll look out for you! You get pushed around, shoved, you fall on your *** but it's all in the spirit and you have a f*ckin great time!!!

that's what I call some desperately bored and greedy peoples do on the first day of the big sales do, rushing into the a big department store, running others into the ground, pushing und shoveling, pulling and tearing clothes and hair, sprinting to the cash-register while raging the rest of place and hitting their competitors with their prow on the way out...: moshing:-) same goes for dance and riots

It's kind of hard to really define, But I always see most people smiling. Bleeding, maybe, but smiling. It makes me smile! It is especialy fun at a Gwar show, where the blood you are covered with is only partialy your own. (it's hard to take pictures there, tho... keep getting pushed around)
