Yes.Time is the answer.Just try to get thru each day,one day you will look around and the colors will come back. Hang in there.

Yes, and nothing. I tried the alcohol that day and it did nothing but get rid of a lot of alcohol before I stopped drinking. The grief stayed and the alcohol left the building. Of course, alcohol was never that strong for me. At least I had a chance to drink with friends and family once before I quit. the best thing I can tell you is that grief is of your own constructon. You can do with it what you may. I use it for inspiration and humility, You do with it what you will.

When I accepted blame and guilt from others, it used to cause grief. Now, I only accept the grief I cause myself. And, as my best friend, I'm always trying to fix the problem, not dwelling on the guilt or blame.

yes, I lost both of my parents. Music helps ALOT! but mostly just time. I know that sounds lame but its true.
