It's like you think the local construction company would know when they receive thier 900th order for steel rebar to be delivered to Wayne Manor. but then again it is a comic book.

Well the really easy answer is Superman or one of his cosmic powered buddies helps him out.

The other way would be he uses certain people who he knows won't rat him out.

As for equipment Bruce Wayne has such a big company he could lose people in an endless maze of paperwork.

He actually pays Matter Eating Lad to come by everynow and then and just it away. We always wondered why he vanished from the old comics, this is why, Batman pays him to do deconstruction. Go Matter Eating Lad!

that is kinda weird, ya and even super villains who build their secret bases and stuff and their dooms day device I mean why would scientists and workers build a machine that will kill every one including the people who made it and their families that's weird

He brought in different contractors, all independent, mostly oversees. He had a different contractor for each part, never let one person do too much.

he has friends like superman to help him with the heavy digging and labor. so its not like he has to hire a crew from in front of a home depot or anything.
