My outer lip on my vagina stretched out. Why?

My vagina has always looked normal, but one night when I came home from the movies and got into the shower, I noticed that my right outer lip had stretched out. Can someone please tell me why?

Some assymetry (unevenness) when it comes to size of the labia minora is common for some women but for others it could be the result of a hormone imbalance. I would recommend addressing this concern with your dr as well to see what they think.
