hey i drink like 1 soda a day sometimes 2, i heard that this will make ur bones weaker and more prone to osteoperosis due to the phosporic acid found in the sodas, any chem people can tell me if this is true? thanks

You would do better asking a nutritionist or dietician. Just keep the sodas at the 12 ounce can level.

Calcium and Phosphates are both required for bone building and repair. The small amount of Phosphoric acid found in most soda should not lead to osteoporosis.

You are more likely to have trouble if your diet does not contain enough Phosphate, which will cause your bones to undergo phosphate depletion.

The study of clinical chemisty covers this topic a little deeper than than dieticians usually get.
