I agree. Killing characters off used to be a big deal. Now it happens in every issue that the company wants to be a "BIG DEAL." It takes away from the impact that the death makes. Although I agree with the people who have said that there are too many mutants to keep track of and that a lot of those characters are uninteresting, killing them off in an offhanded, meaningless way doesn't make me care about them any more than I did when they were alive. AND it makes me care less when a character I do care about is killed. It is a mistake.

Well there where way too many mutants to keep up with. They had to weed some of the worthless mutants out. But they are killing too many of them off. But most of them where worthless in the first place.

I think they should. Theres like too many of them already, and most are lame anyways. marvel can always resurrect any mutant that died later on if they find a use for it.

yeah-dropping the number of them down to 198 like that was a really lame idea. when there are so few it makes it kinda hard for the writers to work new heros and bad guys into the x books.

No, it is the natural order of things. They must die, so that the mammals (insignificant little characters who have been unnoticed up until now) can have their day.

you have to remember also that the scarlet witch altered the course of nature with her chaos magic. eventually they are going to readdress that issue and either the scarlet witch, her children from young avengers or talia from excalibur are going to use their powers to set everything as it was before the house of M.
