Angie played the original gia in the movie. Angie is beautiful, but I think that she looks nothing like her. Who do u guys think could've replaced her? I think Catherine Zetta jones could have played the original gia.

I don't think you could have gotten a better actor. Didn't she win an emmy or something? I mean George C Scott looked nothing like Patton but few, if any, would argue someone could have done better. Jolie was the only one.

I agree with one poster who said Catherine Zeta Jones could have played the part, looks wise, she looks more closer to how Gia looked. But, no one could have played Gia's personality better than Angelina.

Angelina was a dead ringer for Gia,but I think Monica Belluci would have done a fine job as well.

This movie is a few years old.....did you just now see it?
I think Angelina did a great job...they star playing the role doesnt have to look like the person they are playing....I can think of alot of roles played that they didnt look the part....One good example is Reese play June Carter Cash and Phoenix playing Johnny Cash.....look nothing alike but did great...oscar material....also he and angelina both won golden globes for their roles as well
