Yep, they do fade. But there are some things you can do to preserve your tan. Exfoliate right before you go in for the tan, shave, and do all of that good stuff. That way you can put off shaving and exfoliating for as long as possible after you get the tan. Moisturize REALLY good before you go in too. Also, I like to get my tan towards the end of the day and then wait overnight before I shower...That way it's like it can soak in better...maybe that's just me though.

I do it all the time best way to do this the first time.Rub until it is dry to the touch do not put as much on your knees, feet and
ankles if you do they will turn orange.Put one coat on let dry
completely about one hour then put another coat on.It will take about 3 coats to get a nice tan. When you achieve the tan you want let it dry for one day then take a shower to get the sticky feeling off.Wash very lightly, when you dry yourself be careful because you can rub a lot of it off ,pat yourself dry.If you don't do this and you go swimming some of the tan will stain your suit and come off on your towel.Remember to pat yourself dry.Tan will last 1 week.

Put the fake tan on the night before. Your tan shouldn't fade if you exfoliate well and then shower before prom. Just remember to be careful around your ankles, knees, and elbows. Exfoliation is key! Have fun at prom! =]

Most good fake tans can take the water. However, they do fade. As the skin renews itself, layers come off, and so does the tan.

Fake tans fade, but it takes days for them to fade. They aren't going to fade if you go into the water, don't worry about that.

at first, don't think human beings whilst they say that st tropez and pretend bake do no longer do this - it relies upon extra on your man or woman pores and skin than the product, except you decide on for the truly inexpensive and nasty ones that are consistently undesirable. This in lots of cases happens to me too and that i do no longer think of there is any thank you to totally circumvent it. you may desire to exfoliate usually, yet do it gently - scrubbing too annoying could make you pass truly truly patchy. in all probability the perfect ingredient to do is detect a physique puff interior the bathe daily, as that very gently exfoliates without being too extensive. you may desire to make valuable your bathe gel is ph balanced to boot - curiously that would reason this problem.
