Only one moratorium in 1968 on the Viet Nam war. It was a really big candle lit turnout at a local park, all ages joined in with Viet Nam vets and local politicians. Lots of speeches, song and guitar playing....quite peaceful and memorable really.

Not any serious political or social issues... but I can clearly remember going through a " I will not eat anything that is green" phase when I was 3... so during that time I did a lot of "protesting"... just sitting at the dinner table, my arms crossed, tears flowing down my cheeks, lips tightly pursed and pouty..... I was protesting brussel sprouts!

yeah, when Parliament tried raising the tax by half a farthing per tonne of tea I took part in a raid on the ship and we dressed like Indians and threw the tea into Boston Harbour. That showed the King, I'll tell ya.

Well, sorta. Cyberly, anyway. An online site I used to frequent became very lax about it's policies concerning content and children ... me and about 20 other people became the squeaky wheel that forced them to put up a warning on their front page.

Yes, to try to save a wildlife corridor from developers. We weren't totally successful but there was a compromise.

yes at a gay rights rally, at a pro-choice function, i've also crossed picket lines at anti aids demonstrations, and anti abortion protests.
