Because Durant will fit perfect with the Bucks. He'll most than likely play the 3 because Redd is at the 2.

Maybe once Greg Oden announces they will have Oden go first. But if you look back a few years, this might look like the '84 draft. Durant might be like Michael Jordan was, sliding behind the once in a lifetime big man (Hakeem Olajawon, not Sam Bowie). The Rockets went a long way with Hakeem, but Jordan won a few more titles. And Jordan probably could have played with Clyde Drexler. If they had to do it over again, perhaps they take Jordan. But how can anyone complain about getting either Durant or Oden if they pick No. 1? No. 2 might just be laughing at them down the road no matter who they take.

Oden is technically not in the NBA draft yet. I cannot see anyone passing on Oden as #1. Durant is very good too, but its all about building a team around a solid center. If you had to name the top 5 NBA players ever off the top of your head, it would be something like.. Wilt, Jordan, B. Russell, Magic, Shaq (maybe in time)... I am not saying these are the best 5, just for the sake of my point. All those centers dominated and won many rings. That is what people see in Oden, a young Ewing, Olujawan, or Bill Russell.

This is for Hi and NateDizzle, the only reason that Durant is projected at number one is because Oden is undelcared. Durant is good but if you listen to anyone who knows anything about sports such as analysts, sportscasters, etc. they say the same thing. A guy like Greg Oden comes around every 10 years, it seems like there is another Kevin Durant every 2 or 3. So please put your hatred for OSU aside and admit that he has some truely amazing talent. Not that Durant doesnt but Oden's presence in the paint is outstanding.

Probably because Greg Oden hasn't yet declared for the NBA draft. If Oden stays in college, Durant will surely go #1 whoever gets the first pick.

No matter who get's the 1st pick, it would be stupid not to pick Durant. It would be like the Texan's horrible mistake of drafting Mario over Bush. Yea, they didn't need a RB, but still. You CANT pass up on greatness.

Beacuse they wouldn't need Greg Oden since they have Bogut for the future.....Durant would be a good fit.
