I, personally, cannot believe that this thing has gotten so much attention by the media whores. A crazy old man said something, that if a black person (pc?) had said it, there would be no problem. If Jesse Jackson had said it, everyone who is whining about it would probably have laughed and joked about the team making a group trip to the beauty shop. They do the same thing with the "N" word. If I, being a mid 20's white woman, utter the forbidden word...Oh my God, lock me up and throw away the key, but if D'shawn says it after dunking the ball at the YMCA no one seems to care. I'm so tired of black people (pc?) thinking that they are the only ones who get discriminated against. It's all B.S. if you ask me.

I just find it funny that CBS didn't fire him until advertisers decided to pull their funding. CBS is a joke. They claim the advertisers decision to pull ads had nothing to due with its decision.
What a pile of crap. How stupid do they think we are? If they were going to fire him they would have done it before they suspended him for 2 weeks. Corporate's way of saying money is everything.

Yes. He's made a career out of making an as* of himself, and these are the consequences.

I think it is a little extreme for people to carry on like this..he made a terrible mistake, but for a country that claims to be mostly Christian, why can't we just forgive him and move on

He's an egocentric man that demeans those around him and I could care less if they muted him for life...I stopped listening to him long ago.
