Tack some styrofoam egg Cartons on your wall. That's the cheapest, but not the best. The best way would cost tens, possibly hundreds of thousands of dollars.

The best way and maybe the easiest is to get a bunch of matresses and place them along all the walls of the room. Make sure you have one for the door also.
It does work really well but not too many people have access to a lot of matresses.

The most inexpensive way is to collect TONS of cardboard egg crates (avoid the foam ones) and line your studio room walls with them. Done right, these give you the same effect some pay tons of $$$$ for in fancier studios.

I think the absolute best answer for you is a very good pair of earphones. Then you can play as loud as you like and you'll be the only one who goes deaf.
